Musings on my fantasy football team, the league I'm in, and maybe the NFL some. I play in a 12 team league with 20 man rosters. It's 1 point per 10 yards rushing and receiving, 25 yards passing. Also, 1/2 point per reception. The main difference from standard leagues are some rules that lift the values of QBs. Passing TDs are worth 6 points, every 5 completions earn a point, and the flex player can be a QB, so most teams play 2 QBs each week.

Got Jones
As I suspected, I was able to add Matt Jones, WR Jax in the claims process. I think I'd like to add Chris Henry, WR Cin as well. I'll probably let go of Devin Hester, WR Chi to do this.
I'm a mathematician living in San Diego; I've been in this league for about eight years, starting when I was living in Gainesville. Most of the players are in northern Florida and I participate primarily over the internet.
