I did some over-coaching yesterday and hit on 1 of 2. I heard that Donte Rosario, TE Car was questionable with a foot injury, so I replaced him with John Carlson, TE Sea. That was a good move. I also decided to replace J.T. O'Sullivan, QB SF as my flex with Tim Hightower, RB Az. That was a bad move.
Matt Hasselbeck, QB Sea had a pretty bad game, putting up just 7 points. I went against Ben Roethlisberger, QB Pit, who was hampered by rough winds in Cleveland and scored just 15. Adrian Peterson, RB Min put up 20, including 160 yards rushing. Larry Johnson, RB KC put up just 2 and is probably having his Shawn Alexander season. I have Marion Barber, RB Dal tonight and he has Felix Jones, RB Dal. In the playoffs last season, I first had Peterson going against Chester Taylor, RB Min (so glad to have him on my team this year) and then Barber against Julius Jones, then RB Dal, now RB Sea. Both times it worked out well for me. At flex, Hightower put up 10 for me. He had Damon Huard, QB KC, who threw an interception before leaving with a head injury, so put up -1.
The WRs were terrible for me; Joey Galloway, WR TB scored just 2 before leaving with a foot injury in the fourth quarter. Marvin Harrison, WR Ind scored just 1 even though Manning threw a ton. He had Antonio Bryant, WR TB score 0 and has Terrell Owens, WR Dal going tonight. Carlson scored 10 for me and actually out-dueled Kellen Winslow, TE Cle, who scored 8. Stephen Gostkowski, PK NE had a big game as NE couldn't get in the end zone, scoring 13. He was opposed by Mike Prater, PK Den, who had 9. The Titans defense had a solid game and scored 13 for me but the Giants defense also had a touchdown and scored 22. So, it stands 76-55 I'm ahead with Barber against Jones and Owens. It'll probably be close in the end.
On the bench, Trent Edwards, QB Buf had a second solid game with 17 points. J.T. O'Sullivan put up 25 and I wish I'd kept him in. The Raiders won so they didn't have garbage time to rack up passing yards and JaMarcus Russell, QB Oak scored just 3. Kevin Smith, RB Det scored 8 but the Lions were way down early again and he didn't get many chances. Chester Taylor, RB Min scored just 1, but continues to look solid, just like I like it. Kenny Watson, RB Cin also scored 1 and I'm glad he didn't do much against the Titans. James Jones, WR GB caught 4 passes, including a TD, and scored 10. Devin Hester, WR Chi caught just 1 ball and scored 0. Owen Daniels, TE Hou had a bye and Zach Miller, TE Oak scored 3. The Cowboys D goes tonight.
I'm leaning towards waiving Miller to acquire a WR this week.
