I totally screwed up my WRs, but I managed to get the win behind strong performances from Tyler Thigpen and Marion Barber. There were only 5 teams I would have beaten this week, so I was pretty lucky that the current #2 seed was among them. Matt Hasselbeck had a rough game in his first week back, throwing three interceptions to go with one touchdown. Trent Edwards did the same, but ran for a TD so I should have used him. I'm glad I've got Edwards's back up, but I'm concerned about the possibility that the Seahawks will give up on the season and bench Hasselbeck.
Lance Moore had a great game (21 points) and seriously outscored Marques Colston (4 points), who had a poor game. I'd thought about using Moore instead of Mark Bradley (6) of Hasselbeck (10) and wish I'd done either. I did not consider using Marvin Harrison, who scored 17. I'm not sure whether I'll feel comfortable playing Harrison, but I'd like to. Deion Branch had a solid 7 points in his first game back from his second injury of the season. I'd like to think he might become a possible starter this season. Since I would only have to give up my 17th round pick to keep him, I really want to see him establish himself as being a big bargain then.
Matt Spaeth, the Pittsburgh TE I picked up since I don't trust Owen Daniels while Sage Rosenfels is the QB, scored 8 for me. I'm not sure whether Heath Miller will be back for Pittsburgh, so I might need to find someone else for this week. Joe Nedney only scored 5 as the 49ers rushed to a 35-3 lead over the Rams and then didn't bother trying to score again. I'll try to get Gostkowski back, but I've got a late pick and if anyone else wants him, it'll be hard for me to get him.
The only movement I'm really looking to make is to add Pierre Thomas, RB NO, who was waived last week. Tatum Bell, RB Den did okay in his first week with the team, but only scored 3 while Thomas had a huge game. I don't think I'll be able to get him. I might try to change TEs, possibly back to John Carlson of Seattle, but they have a kind of tough match up next week.
