After Sunday afternoon, Week 7

My opponent did have a mediocre game, so I'm not out of it yet, but my chances aren't very good.

QB: Trent Edwards put up 21 points, which I'm very glad about. But on my bench, J.T O'Sullivan put up 22 and JaMarcus Russell 17. I really wish I had gone with O'Sullivan as my flex. Eli Manning put up just 15 and he has Jay Cutler going tomorrow. On his bench, Aaron Rogers put up 17.

RB: My guys came through for me. Adrian Peterson had 25 and Marion Barber 15. Chester Taylor had another 16 backing up Peterson and I wish I had played him at flex. Instead, my flex is Michael Pittman, playing for Denver tomorrow. I also have Kevin Faulk for NE, but I don't really expect to swap them. My opponent got just 5 from Reggie Bush and 7 from Frank Gore, so this position was a big win for me, which I did not expect. He had DeAngelo Williams with 12 on his bench.

WR: This did not work out well despite my big trade to get WRs. Marques Colston didn't catch a single pass. I need to look into why. Marvin Harrison caught just 2 for 11 yards, so earned just 2 points. My bench wasn't much better; Devin Hester scored 3, Lance Moore 2. I'm curious to see what Joey Galloway does tonight. I read that Matt Jones may be suspended by the league. My opponent got 25 from Calvin Johnson and 15 from Santana Moss, completely wiping out my advantage at the RB position. (By the by, Vincent Jackson scored 15 after I traded him, so I'm definitely not coming out ahead on this deal so far.)

TE: I was right to expect a lot from Owen Daniels; he scored 21. I had hoped Tony Gonzalez wouldn't do anything for my opponent, but he got 12, so it wasn't as big a win as I'd hoped.

PK: I've got Gostkowski going tomorrow. My opponent got just 4 from Kris Brown of Houston.

TM: The Titans blew out the Chiefs but the D only scored me 11 points because they didn't force any turnovers. The Packers were able to put up 20 points against the Colts by returning two interceptions for touchdowns. I had really hoped to win this position, but I was pretty far down.

So, I'm down 95-103 after Sunday's games. I have Gostkowski and Pittman against Cutler. There is a chance that I win, but I wouldn't expect to.
