This is the team with the first pick. He took Tom Brady with that pick and had Tony Romo as a keeper. He's obviously having a tough season and I'd really like to continue that for another week.
QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Cin at Hou and Brad Johnson, Dal vs TB. Fitzpatrick hasn't done much in a handful of starts and Johnson was terrible last week. Johnson has a tough match up but Fitzpatrick's match up is favorable. I like my chances of winning the position with Edwards and O'Sullivan. He also has Matt Ryan, Atl at Phi, who is his best QB but does have a tough match up. Still, I'd probably use him rather than Johnson.
RB: Chris Johnson, Ten vs Ind and Marshawn Lynch, Buf at Mia. Two good players with good match ups. With Peterson on bye and being completely unsure what to expect from Kevin Faulk, I think I'll lose this position. He also has Willie Parker, Pit vs NYG, but doubtful, LeRon McClain, Bal vs Oak, Deuce McAllister, NO vs SD, and T.J. Duckett, Sea at SF. I'd probably be starting McClain or McAllister if I had them.
WR: Andre Johnson, Hou vs Cin and Lee Evans, Buf at Mia. I'm a bit miffed to go against Evans who is Edwards' top receiver. Johnson is on an excellent run the last few weeks, but the Bengals do have a decent pass defense. Among others, he has Eddie Royal, Den on bye and Jerricho Cotchery, NYJ vs KC but questionable. I reckon I have to call this position a likely loss as well.
TE: Heath Miller, Pit vs NYG. Miller hasn't done much this year and the Giants are tough, but I can't count on him doing nothing. Daniels, my TE, is facing the Bengals, so I can't expect a huge game from him. This position will probably be close.
PK: Sebastian Janikowski, Oak at Bal. I succeeded in keeping him from getting Nedney and he took Janikowski. He won last week's game with a 57-yarded, which you have to like. Still, the Raiders haven't been scoring all that many points and they play a tough opponent. Of course, that could mean field goal opportunities replace extra point opportunities. I'm going to expect to win this position.
TM: San Francisco 49ers vs Sea. This is a good choice for the one week since the Seahawks are fairly pathetic on offense without Hasselbeck. I expect them to be able to run the ball though. If the 49ers can score a bunch of points behind O'Sullivan, then the Seahawks can probably score some garbage time points. I wish the Titans weren't facing the Colts. I really don't know what to think of this position.
Whether I will win or not seems to depend on how much I win by at the QB position. I'm probably not going to pick against myself, but I wish the Broncos weren't on bye this week or that Colston had proven he was back to himself last week.
I wasn't in time to claim Nate Washington so I picked up Javon Walker, WR Oak instead. He had a big game last week and could be worth something if Russell improves.
I contacted this owner about possibly trading Lynch and Evans for Barber. I like the Bills' schedule for the end of the season a lot more than the Cowboys'. I'm not 100% sure I'd do such a deal, but I'm curious what he will have to say. I'd certainly like to get Romo as well, but that is probably less likely.
